What You Get

A real plan, made for one runner.

Everything below is built from your intake — not adapted from a generic template you have to reverse-engineer.

A full 12-week plan

Day-by-day training for three months, structured around your goal race date with a proper build and taper.

Paces calculated for you

Easy, threshold, and workout paces set from your current fitness and goal time — no guessing what effort to run.

Injury-aware programming

Your history shapes the plan from day one, so you build fitness while staying healthy — not in spite of it.

Fit to your real week

Built around the days and time you actually have to train, plus your sleep and life stress — not an ideal that ignores your schedule.

A coach behind the plan

Written by a USATF Level 2 coach with 25 years and 31 state champions — someone who reads your intake and thinks about you.

Yours to keep

Editable and printable. Follow it on any device, mark it up, and keep it for reference beyond the 12 weeks.

See A Real Plan

Here’s what one week looks like.

This is a single week from a first-time marathoner’s build — a runner training five days around a full-time job. Every plan reads like this: clear sessions, paces set to your fitness, and effort cues so you always know how hard to go.

Runner celebrating with a finisher medal at the beach after a race
★★★★★
I worked with Coach Saltmarsh to build custom plans for both a half marathon and my first full marathon, and I couldn’t be happier. As a newer runner I had a lot of questions, and he was patient, responsive, and supportive throughout. The plan made my first marathon feel manageable — it broke the training down so I kept progressing without feeling overwhelmed, and gave me the confidence to take on the distance. I not only felt more confident but shaved several minutes off my race times — something I didn’t think I’d achieve so quickly.

Coach Saltmarsh created a training plan that guided me through my first full marathon. He made a plan that fit my schedule, lifestyle, and race goals, and allowed me to increase my mileage quickly without overworking myself and burning out. He was available throughout the process to answer all of my questions and make sure I was feeling confident for race day!

Is This For You?

Built for runners with a goal
and a real life around it.

This is for you if…

  • You have a goal race — 800m to 5K to marathon — and want a plan aimed at it
  • You’re a newer runner who wants structure without feeling overwhelmed
  • You’ve got an injury history you need the plan to work around
  • You’re stuck on a generic plan that ignores your schedule
  • You want a coach’s judgment, not just a calculator’s output

This may not be the fit if…

  • You want daily texting and weekly plan rewrites (this is a 3-month plan, not ongoing coaching)
  • You’re a coach looking for a full-team season system, the 22-Week Blueprint is built for that
  • You only need pace numbers? The free calculators on the site cover that

30-day money-back guarantee

If your plan doesn’t fit what you told me in your intake, reply to your receipt within 30 days and I’ll make it right or refund you in full. Your goals are the whole point.

Questions

Frequently asked

How personalized is this, really?
Fully. There’s no template underneath. After you buy, you fill out an intake covering your goal race, running and injury history, current mileage, sleep, nutrition, and the days you can train. I read all of it and write your 12 weeks from that — the workouts, the progression, and the paces are chosen for you.
What distances can you write a plan for?
Anything from 5K to the marathon, including half marathon. Tell me your goal race and date on the intake and the plan is built to peak you for it.
I’m a brand-new runner. Is this too advanced for me?
Not at all — newer runners are exactly who this serves well. The plan meets you at your current mileage and builds gradually, so you progress without feeling overwhelmed or risking burnout. Katherine and Sarah above both came in as newer runners taking on their first big distances.
When does it start, and when do I get it?
You choose your start date on the intake form. I deliver your finished plan by email within 5 business days of receiving your completed intake, so leave a little runway before you want to begin.
What if I have an injury or come back to one mid-plan?
Your injury history is one of the most important things I ask about, and it shapes the plan from the first week. The plan is written to build you up while respecting what your body needs.
Is there ongoing communication?
This product is a complete 3-month plan delivered to you, not week-to-week coaching. If you’re looking for ongoing adjustments and regular check-ins, reach out about one-on-one coaching directly.
What are the risks?
Running and training carry inherent risk of injury, and this plan is general fitness guidance, not medical advice. You’ll see and agree to a full assumption-of-risk disclosure on the intake form, and I always recommend clearing a new training program with your doctor first.

Ready for a plan that’s actually yours?

Tell me your goal and your history. I’ll build the 12 weeks that get you there.
